fees
The current Australian Psychological Society (APS) recommended fee is $300.00 per hour (2023/2024). There is no need for a referral to meet a psychologist, however full payment is required at the time of your appointment (and a deposit is required for for first appointment). You may be eligible for private health insurance rebates. Medicare rebates are available for psychology patients referred by your GP with a GP Mental Health Care Plan, or by a psychiatrist or paediatrician. Please see our fees listed below:

Cancellation Policy
When appointments are booked, the psychologist reserves the whole hour especially for you, therefore a 50% deposit is taken at the time of the booking. Your 50% deposit will be deducted from the total cost of your consultation at the conclusion of your appointment. Please review the following cancellation policy carefully.
We require 48 hours notice to reschedule or cancel a session without incurring any additional fees. This policy is in place to allow us to offer the allocated time to another client who may be on a cancellation or waiting list for an appointment. Your 50% deposit will be retained for less than 48- hours cancellation. The full session fee (100%) will apply for non-attended appointments with no notice provided AND same-day cancellations. Clients will be billed on the day of their scheduled appointment. Future bookings will require settlement of any outstanding fees.
You may call our office at anytime, even after hours, as we do have an answering service that allows you to leave a message. We will return your call as soon as possible.
We understand that sometimes you may be unable to keep an appointment because of sudden illness or an unexpected personal emergency. If this happens to you, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss your situation.
